Thank You to Jamie Shwartz for Another Successful Online Auction (Article)

Submitted by Peggy Lew on Apr 27 (last updated Apr 27)

Jamie Shwartz, our fabulous Online Auction Chair, did an amazing job yet again!

Jamie and her team got started much earlier this year and worked tirelessly to gather items for our auction, not to mention logging them in and getting them to the right people.  With her help, our community raised over $14,000 from this event!

Thank you again, Jamie, for getting our parents excited about bidding for good.

This year our Readathon was as spectacular as ever!

The Twisted Tales theme intrigued the minds of students and teachers alike. A resounding shout out goes to Shana Aelony and Pamela Evans for all of their hard work and creativity as the Chairs of this event.

Shana and Pam, a huge thank you to both you and your entire Readathon Committee, for continuously sparking the love of reading in the hearts and minds of all of our youngsters.

A word on the Campout… (Article)

Submitted by Julia Jones on Sep 26 (last updated Sep 28)

This is what happens when Open School yet again shows up!  What a great time, huh?  Like all successful events, this is only because of the hard work and generosity of so many parent volunteers.  Not only did we have 60 people signed up to help, but then even more parents would stroll up to the kitchen and offer to put on an apron and help.  When an event gets that kind of support, it’s a certain success.
