The Jog-a-thon is one of the students' favorite Open School events. Each cluster has a period in which individuals in two teams will complete as many laps as they can. Individual clusters run throughout the day, with breaks for recess and lunch. This is a great exercise-oriented event that involves students, teachers, parents, and friends and family and helps raise money for the school.
All students are encouraged to get sponsors for this event. Our goal is $100 per student, but any amount collected will benefit our school directly. All money raised benefits Open School programs, like music, art, physical education, teachers' aides, library staff, and many more.
You can also use the paper form, which went home in the kids' backpacks.
Family and friends are encouraged and welcome to join the fun! Come by and cheer or stay and run.Questions? Contact jogathonopencharter.org (subject: Jog-a-Thon%202015)
