After School SQUEAK Computer Programming for Beginners (Gr. 4-5)

B.J. Conn (former Blue Cluster Teacher for 34 years) will begin a Squeak computer programming class for Beginners only (without Squeak experience) starting Tuesday, February 4th through March 24th for Grades 4 and 5 only.

Squeak is an open-source authoring tool for children. It is a medium which serves as an electronic paper that holds new ways to represent powerful ideas. Squeak allows children to develop problem solving skills while using their math skills and their creativity to create simulations. In doing so, Squeak inspires them to learn and think deeply and to love math. Students will create computer animations, learn how to use joysticks to control graphics, build machines and invent ones that do whatever their imaginations can conceive.

If you have questions, please contact Ms. Conn.  Click to see informational flyer.
