Friends of Open School Events

Each year we have a range of fundraising events that not only raise money and foster a tight-knit community of families. Please choose some events to volunteer for, help plan, or contribute to. Let us know how you would like to help by sending an email to a Friends member, leaving a note in the front office, or attending a meeting.

Our top fundraisers:

Annual Giving – The majority of fund raised each year comes from direct donations. Any amount helps.

The Open School Campout – Campout under the stars at Open School. This is a great way to meet new friends.

Square One Art – In the fall, your child will create an artwork which can be placed on many different items like mugs and tshirts. These make great gifts for family and friends for the Holidays.

Fall Family Festival – This is one of the children’s favorite fundraisers! A full day of games, food and fun right here on our own school campus.

Race for Success – Pledge and run! Several other school share in the proceeds from this massive 5k run. The more people Open School can get to run, the more money we can make.

Online Auction – In the spring, bid online for camps, restaurant gift certificates, travel and many other items. A percentage of your bid goest to support the school.

Live Auction and Gala – Every spring we hold an auction, dinner, and dancing.

Jog-a-thon – The kids raise pledges and then run the track at school. This is what we call a FUNdraiser!

Shopping – Amazon, Ralphs, and Oliver's Lables donate a percentage of your purchases to the school. All you have to do is sign-up and shop.

TerraCycle – We get a percentage of what we turn in for recycling. This is a great way to help our kids learn to recycle.

We have other fundraisers planned for this year, if you are interested in helping please contact
