One School, One Book - Building a Community of Literacy

Following the huge success of our Read-a-thon, we launched the One School, One Book project today at assembly.

What is One School, One Book?  It's when the whole community shares the same literary experience: the students, parents, volunteers, and staff - our WHOLE community - will be reading the same book over a four-week period, from March 5th to April 1st.

There is a buzz in the air as our kiddos received their very own copy of The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies.

The teachers have been hard at work forming lesson plans, reading timelines and making audio recordings for all of our families to enjoy  With so many of our staff members reading different segments of The Lemonade War, you are sure to be captivated as you try to figure who is reading.

Follow the steps to get the first four chapters of The Lemonade War, read by Open School staff!

To download the next chapter in our audiobook, please follow these steps:

  • On your desktop computer, go to the following links Open School's Audiobook Recording
