At-Home Learning Day 2

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hopefully Day 1 of at-home learning went well and everyone is still in positive spirits! We certainly missed everyone. While we are disappointed that we can't be together today to see if our leprechaun traps were a success, we found a way to share the magic of St. Patrick's Day from our homes!

St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt
If your schedule permits, your child can complete the St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt that was sent via email. The first page is for your child to use, while the second page includes pictures of the "bonus" items for you to print out ahead of time and hide around your house for your child to find. Please note that this is an optional activity. We understand that every family is trying to juggle different schedules and work obligations right now and our intention is not to put any extra pressure on you. Use this if you like as an additional activity or in place of another activity today.

Red Cluster "Padlet"
Additionally, we have created a class "Padlet", a discussion board where students can post a variety of things, such as responses to discussion questions, photos, and much more. We have created a Padlet for today- St. Patrick's Day! Use the link we sent via email to access our class Padlet to post photos and captions of your child's leprechaun trap and any green items found on your child's scavenger hunt. Click the pink plus sign on the bottom right hand corner to add your child's post. Click the three dots and "upload" to upload photos from your computer or choose "snap" to take a photo with your phone. If you choose to post, please make sure to include your child's name and provide a caption in his/her own words :)

While social distancing is unfortunately our reality right now, let this be a wonderful way for our students to remember that we are still connected and still a family. We are excited to see what you post on our Padlet today!
In Partnership,
Joey and Stacy
