Indigo Cluster News March 17, 2020

Hello Indigo Families,

Happy St. Patrick's Day and a pinch pinch for those of you who don't have on green :) ! How was Remote Learning Day 1? We hope it went well and you are off to a positive and productive start. As we transition to at-home/on-line learning thank you for being so wonderful and supportive. We are all getting accustomed to this new platform and approach to learning. While social distancing is unfortunately our reality right now, we are working on ways for our students to remember that we are still connected as an Indigo and Open School family and continue to share the love of learning, wonder, and exploration. We will be sending more information about Language Arts later as well as a daily schedule so expect a couple more emails from us today.

As we navigate through unchartered waters, we know this platform is new for you as well as it is for us, but you are not doing this alone!  We are so appreciative of you standing in the gap for us to help facilitate your child’s learning. You have amazing children and we get to see how eager they are to learn, their thoughtful connections to what they are learning, and their amazing creativity everyday!  You will now get some of the rewards of what we do everyday and see why we love working with your children as you get to experience it for yourself!  You can do this! You got this!  The truth is…..you’ve always been doing this as we can’t do what we do without your support and now that support is just looking a little different.  If anything seems overwhelming or you’re just not quite sure something, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we will respond within 24 hours.  We are here to support you!

Thank you for being such an instrumental part of our team and for being flexible during these challenging times.  We will be sending out daily emails to help guide and encourage you for the day and to update you as needed.  While we will be sending out daily emails to support the continuity of your child’s learning, please know that our first priority is to do what’s best for your child and your family.  If you are unable to do something for the day and need to move things around, as you are adjusting to your temporary way of life, we completely understand! We are doing the same thing! Please rearrange as needed, take care of your family, and reach out as needed. We look forward to sharing additional resources, read alouds, and invitations to connect with us using cool technology so stay tuned!!

In partnership,

Stacy and Regina
