Weekly Update

Dear Silver Cluster Families,

We made it to June!  There are two weeks left of remote learning and we would like to pause and say, thank you for your continued support and for always showing up.

As if dealing with COVID-19 restrictions were not hard enough, we know that these past few days have been even more stressful with our nation in pain.  We know that each family is unique and is processing a lot of feelings, emotions, questions, in their own way.  We also know that our children are also processing this.  If your child needs a space, we have scheduled an optional 11:00 AM Zoom meeting for the children who would like to share or like to listen to what others have to say.  Please check your email for Zoom meeting ID and password.

We also wanted to let you know that this Friday, we will celebrate our 5th graders who are culminating from Open School.   We will not have Zoom lessons scheduled for Friday, to give families an opportunity to attend the culmination.  If you would like to celebrate the 5th graders achievements and support their culmination, we invite you to join this special occasion.  More details will follow.

Finally, please mark your calendars: Tuesday, June 9 from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM is Silver Cluster’s scheduled pick up day for your child’s end of the year work.  There will be only one day to pick up your child’s materials.  Since this is the last week of school, all of the clusters are choosing days in a staggered fashion, so there are not too many people on campus on the same day.  If you have a library book/ laptop that your child checked out from the Open School, please return the book/ laptop on June 9th when you pick up your child’s materials.

In partnership,

Kim and Tina
